You already know it’s JHCO here to bring you satisfaction and a whole lot of action. In today’s post I wanna share some tips on fasting. Yesterday I started a 36 Hour Power Fast which ends in a couple of hours, so I thought it would make a great post today.

36 Hour Power Fast

So Today I did a 36 hour power fast where basically I drink only water and consume nothing else for 36 hours.

Fasting isn’t easy but they’re worth it with many healthy benefits that I will list below. My experience was challenging but anyone can do it if you set your mind to it.

After you past that initial hunger in the morning the day is smooth sailing if you stay busy. But around 3 or 4 I started starving like Marvin.

Especially when my girl asking me what I want for dinner telling me I need to eat something in reality I think she was tryna break me.

But you have to stand on your principles and do what you say and say what you do. That’s the only way people will listen and trust you. Like how could I teach y’all on something I’ve never done.

Benefits of Fasting

There are a plethora of benefits when it comes to fasting but I will only focus on the ones I was looking to achieve in my 36 Hour Power Fast.

Spiritual I wanted to get a better connection to the source and I believe when we’re full and comfortable we aren’t as aware or thankful and grateful for the things we have. I know that the road to the light is narrow and only the chosen ones will make it.

Self Discipline is a major key to being successful in anything and lately, I had been complacent and comfortable and I needed to challenge myself.

Mental toughness in today’s age you have to be mentally competent and tough to survive especially as an independent and free thinker. Being an entrepreneur looks fun but it’s not easy takes hard work and consistency even when no one supports you or believes in you have to know that even though the crowd is going left your path is right and it will get lonely.

Physical benefits you literally are what you eat every 35 days your skin replaces itself and make new cells with the food you have eaten. You literally become what you eat. You detoxify the body’s liver, intestine, colon literally all the major organs get a chance to detoxify flush, and repair themselves.

It’s Medicine literally instead of medicine try to fast for a day and watch how great you feel.

Conclusion

As I’m writing this I have less than an hour left that will conclude my 36-hour power fast there is no wrong or the right way how to fast just do you. And for me it was no food only water for 36 hours some people do water and fruit, I didn’t because fruits have pesticides as well.

The major key that I can give you before starting your fast is deciding what is and isn’t a fast for you and sticking to what you say is what you’re going to do.
