Chase Namic is 21 year old media entrepreneur, who makes $100k a month on YouTube. He runs 20 cash cow channels where he hire people to make the videos on his behalf. He started about 4 years ago and his goal is to 10X to $1 Million a month.
During my podcast interview with Chase I asked how is he doing it? How can a beginner with no YouTube experience get started earning income on YouTube and he says.
How to start earning income on YouTube?
There is no secret to it but their are variables that help, he states the reason he like YouTube so much is you don’t have to be a genius to earn a lot of money.
If you look at the top earners on YouTube they’re not fucking geniuses, they’re just people that capitalized on the right trends and made decent content. It doesn’t take a genius to make it on YouTube and that’s whats appealing to me personally Chase says.
To make the kind of money these top YouTubers are making like 40 to 50 Million a year, to make that money in the real world you have to start a hedge fund or get into private equity something difficult to do which is why I love YouTube.
I look at the top earners and realize there no geniuses I can do what they were doing. So 4 years a go I launched my channel started producing my own content solely for money.
When I started making a decent bit of money, I essentially used that money to start delegating to make the videos on my behalf. I essentially just scaled that up over the last 4 years.
The top 3 things you should do to start earning income on YouTube?
1. Focus on 1 niche opposed to throwing shid at the wall trying to do gaming, sports, beauty etc. Trying to do everything in 1 channels doesn’t work anymore like it use to. Find 1 thing and stick with that 1 thing.
2. Secondly have schedule set in place rather it be 1 video a week, 2 videos a week or daily videos be sure to stick to that.
3. Third is obviously be patient most people think they’re going to make money in two months and that almost never happens. People get discouraged and end up quitting so.
Those are three things I would say are most important.
You always speak about turning YouTube into Cash Cow can you tell us what that is?
I sort of made the term up, I didn’t make up the terminology in general but Instagram and YouTube I made it up. Cash Cow the sole purpose a channel exist is just to make money.
It could be anything top 10 channel, sports compilation channels,it could be a gaming channel really it could be anything. But the channel purpose is to strictly make money.
The death of Social Media Influencer vs Rise of Media Entrepreneur?
Why did you choose Mediapreneuer over social media influencer?
Chase says I never wanted to be famous for the negative implications that come with that, I just want to be super fucking wealth.
They I saw about going at it on YouTube is essentially delegating and have someone else be the face or just have someone else make the content without showing their face.
I knew to earn real money on YouTube you have to get a lot of eyeballs on you because that’s what bring in the dollars.
Is there a certain mindset to have to earn that kind of money?
No I wouldn’t say so, I don’t think its a mindset you have to have just when you see the numbers going up stick to whats working but No I don’t think there is a certain mindset you have to have.
What kind of business model is this?
I do mentor ships and partnerships which is my best seller where basically I partner with client on YouTube channel. I basically build up the whole channel for them.
I bring on my team, we set up the schedule, we line up everything for them so they don’t have to go out and assemble everything themselves. We also promote the channel via our 7 million subscriber network.
That way they don’t have to go through the tough two or three years trying to build up that initial audience which is the hardest part.
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago the next best time is NOW!
